Good Morning! If you are just joining us for the first time, you will need to read all previous posts starting with Monday, March 23. Please make sure you are reading the entire post each day. There is lots of important information being shared daily!

Math Resources

Must Do Activities:

1. IXL You must complete the four recommended skills with a smart score of at least 80. The amount of time this will take will vary. This week we will be reviewing multiplying whole numbers.

Here is a Khan Academy video if you need a refresher. Or, you can watch a Flocabulary video! If you used the code in yesterday’s post, you will find it in the assignments.

2. Prodigy This will help you practice multiplying whole numbers as well. This is really more of a may do. Use this for fun or if you feel you need more practice before you complete the Galileo assignment. If you are having trouble with a new account and the class code, try clicking you are at school instead of home.

3. Here is an online practice test. Watch the video to learn how to navigate to the test. You will be logging in as a guest, so just find a piece of paper and write the answers down. I will be creating a Kahoot that uses these questions! So be prepared! If you need to watch a video on how to access the practice test, click here.

4. You will also need to complete an 8 question Galileo assignment. If you need a reminder on how to access Galileo, here is a short video. You might have to use the pop out window the top of the right corner.

You may work at a pace that works best for you and your family, but it must all be complete by Friday, April 3.

May Do Activities:

5. Remember prime numbers? Sometimes it was really tricky to figure out prime factorization because which ones are prime?! Check out the video ‘Find the Primes’! You will need to go to byrdseed.tv to the student login. Your login is Moore and password 12345. After you watch the video, share something you discovered. You could even share with me during our LIVE office hours in Microsoft Teams!

6. Sumdog

7. SolveMe Puzzles

Science Resources

Science at this time is considered ‘May Do’ Activities, but I do hope you participate!

1. Login to Flocabulary to watch the video on motion. Then do the assigned activities! I’m reposting this from yesterday because not many of you took advantage of using this cool website!

2. Paper Airplane Challenge

Did your record the distance your airplane flew? What was the longest distance? Did you have a competition with a sibling or parent?

Are you curious about the world’s best paper airplane? Check this video out!

Fun Stuff (always optional)

Video of the Day

My cat Lucy has chewed off all of Harold’s eyebrows and one side of his cheek whiskers! Do you think this is a problem for him?

That’s it for today! I hope you have a Terrific Tuesday! Check your emails for the Zoom information!
