“The waters current was too strong and was pulling the boat closer to the waterfall. Emmy tried to use the oar to stop the boat, but it snapped. ‘Mom gave us one rule, never go into this river!‘ Ash shouted, using the other oar to stop the boat. ‘I know! We shouldn’t have done this.‘ Emmy shouted back with a wistful look on her face.” I read aloud to my little sister, Kira. “Girls, time for dinner!” Mom yelled from the kitchen. “I’ll read more to you later” I say to Kira while closing the book. “What are we going to eat?” I asked Mom when we went into the kitchen. “Mushroom.” Said Mom. Kira wrinkled her nose to that. “I don’t like mushrooms!” Kira shouted. “Well, you’ll have to eat it!” Mom said. 🍄

One day there was a wrinkled mushroom named Bob, He really wanted to go kayaking so he decided to go to the beach. When he got there, he was so amazed because there were so many he could choose from. At the end he chose the green one. His instructor had many rules of how to use the oar. Since, bob wanted to go so badly, he just decided to be wistful. When he went into the seas, He did not know how to use his oar, so he ended up at the bottom of the ocean. He did not know how to swim.

 I was outside camping with my family as usually. We were at a campsite up north by a river. Today was a nice and sunny day in the summer. Toady my dad wanted us to go kayaking with an oar. As I was getting ready for kayaking, I felt a little bit wistful. As we kayaked, we saw a sign saying “RULE: NO TOUCHING MUSHROOMS.” As we kayaked, I saw an old, wrinkled mushroom. As I we kayaked, I saw more and more, than finally I saw a Golden Mushroom. Surrounded by Gnomes as they looked as us. They looked fierce, they grabbed something than they turned into a giant looking beast, we roe as fast as we could, but they were on top of us….

I wondered into a magical place I never knew even existed.

How it started was a portal came I went into it not expecting anything special. When I got out of the portal everything was magical there was a rainbow-colored mushroom. Then I entered a little cottage, next to a boat with an oar on the side. On a sign it said

Rule 1 listen.

Mysterious I thought as I entered. I saw a witch she was ironing some wrinkled clothes. She seemed wistful at first. Oh, hello come in she said with a creepy grin just then….

 Mia’s bestie Rayia came over one afternoon to hang out. They choose to play Hide N Seek with Rayia’s brother Jackson because the moms just would not stop talking. So, Jackson was the seeker, so Mia and Rayia hid in the same room.  Jackson opened the door and then walked out of the room they were hiding in. After a few minutes we got out of our spot but then suddenly, darkness enveloped the room. We screamed so loud Mia’s dresser shook. Everyone ran to see if we were ok, and we nodded are head yes. But then we saw…..

 There once lived two siblings named Jack and Jenny, their parents had just bought a new house. Jack and Jenny loved the house at first. Then, when they were resting in bed, they had heard a ‘’SCREEECH!’’ The sound couldn’t have come from their parents… They both jumped out of bed to investigate. They tip-toed into a huge room. They looked around to check if they saw any creepy things, suddenly, darkness enveloped the room… They were freaking out!! Jenny screamed so loud! They decided to leave the room and go back to their bedrooms. When they were hiding in bed, they soon found out what made the huge noise. It turns out, it was just their dog Bayley!

Once there was a girl named Harlow. Her dad said it was a good idea to move to East Night St., but she had no idea how terrible her new home would be. After she put all her stuff into her new room in the basement of the bitter cold house, she fell asleep in her room. That night she had a dream about when her mother died. Her dream seemed so real that even the car accident made her feel sad. The horrible dream caused to wake up. She turned the lamp on and looked around her room. Then a dark shadow came out of her closet and stepped towards her. Suddenly, darkness enveloped the room. “GET OUT!” It shouted…

His watch read February 29, 3:45pm, 2044. As soon as he came out of the gate 29, he went straight to his house to see if anyone was there to tell him what happened. As soon as he went there the first room, he checked was his parents’ room. When he went there, he found that no one was there! Suddenly, darkness enveloped the room. When he realized that nothing was even there, not a single trace of where his family went to was there!!! That day had been the saddest day of his life as his parents abandoned him, or so he thought.

Suddenly, darkness enveloped the room. It seemed to be coming from the tiger. It didn’t matter. I charged it, swinging my sword wildly. It swiped at me, but I sidestepped and thrust my blade at it. It fell twitching. I stood there breathing heavily, while Kaye stared at me in amazement. I rushed over to Jason. His head looked bad, but he seemed okay for the time being. We managed to help him get on his feet, but he wasn’t in a good state to cooperate. I looked at the opening above us. “I think I know a way out.”
