The Titanic

Written by Katelyn for the 100 word challenge

“Carly!” Shouted Amanda, “You should probably get out of the storm,” “Ok, Fine.” Carly replied, “But, if I come inside, I get the top bunk,” Amanda nodded politely and gestured for Carly to follow. They went down the stairs and made their way to their 3rd class roomThe boat seemed to be following a specific pattern. A flash of light, then, darkness, a flash of light, then, darkness. Then, a large thud. And another thud, then, another flash of light. “What is wrong with our room?” Asked Carly, “And why do I feel wet?” “Carly, you’re not wet you just-” Amanda started. They looked down and saw water seeping through the walls. “B-but the Titanic is unsinkable! How is there water!?” Carly shouted. Amanda looked at Carly with sad eyes, “M-maybe it isn’t unsinkable after all.”😥😢

A Battle to Survive

Written by Caden for the 100 word challenge

She looked confused. “What?” I sighed, frustrated. “You step onto to the lower sword,” I explained. “Then you step onto the higher one. Then you pulled out the lower sword and wedge into the wall right above you. You do this until you reach the top. Get it?” Realization spread across her face. She started to climb. As she did, she said, “That tiger was weird. That black smoke…like a flash of light, then, darkness. thought about that. After she got to the top, she tossed the swords down. I came up slowly with Jason. The trees were waiting.

A Battle to Survive (Part Twenty-One)

Written by Caden for the 100 word challenge

After setting Jason aside, I took his sword and wedged it into the wall. I then did the same with mine, but I put it a foot higher. While I was doing this I thought, for some reason, about how me and my family always went canoeing, and how I was always dropping my oar. I also thought how angry my mom would be. Also, my teacher for missing school. She was old and wrinkledThat thought led to my spelling words. I only remembered three. Rule, mushroom, and wistful. Then I told Kaye to climb up my makeshift ladder.

The Strange Man Part 15

Written by Mikayla for the 100 word challenge

When the serpent-lady arose, Joe blasted her, and she turned back into human form. Her face was wrinkled, and she had arms the size of oarsShe was super ugly, and it made me sick just being around her. Then, my mom came running in with a huge sword. She started throwing mushrooms at the lady and she reluctantly shriveled into nothing but rocks. Joe looked wistful when I looked at him. Then my mom pointed the sword at joe. “Jason, lily, are you okay? Joe is an extremely dangerous ma-” she got cut off when Joe knocked her unconscious.

Wormhole pt3

Written by Jaylen

From Julio’s perspective or the boy who has been in all the stories.

I found a clue to where they might have gone! We have a boat and a set of oars in the lake behind my house. My parents had gone to Nantucket an island in Massachusetts. I have a note that says where they were going. If I lose it, I would be toast. While I was traveling there, I felt wistful for even going to the gate. Oh no, I dropped the note. I went to get it, when I came out my skin was wrinkled. There was one rule that I made, and it was not to lose the note. The island looked beautiful with mushrooms and more. But where were was my family!!!

Adventure Seekers

Written by Alicia for the 100 word challenge

Aloha! I am Maddox and I work for a team “Adventure Seekers”, where I get to explore beautiful islands and write about what I explored. Today I went to an island near Hawaii, Oahu with my partner Danny, but he was wistful about one rule. At Oahu, there was beautiful scenery, and the beach was very magnificent. When I was there, I saw a ton of mushrooms, all sorts of colors. My favorite mushroom I saw was lactarius indigo. We then went to a place where they sold oars and canoes. Then, we went canoeing, but we saw something wrinkled….

Police

Written by Mia for the 100 word challenge

One day a wrinkled mushroom thought she came up with a rule the police would use. The mushroom went to the police office, but he calls it the cop room. The police he met with was very wistful about the rule he wanted to add. The mushroom decided to name himself Maddi. Maddi was very upset on how those police responded and acted to what the rule Maddi had wished to add. So, Maddi went to go to another police station, she looked it up on her Maps app and drove off. Something strange had slowed Maddi down, she saw an officer using an oar, then she got close……

Story Time 📚

Written by Brynlee for the 100 word challenge

The waters current was too strong and was pulling the boat closer to the waterfall. Emmy tried to use the oar to stop the boat, but it snapped. Mom gave us one rule, never go into this river! Ash shouted, using the other oar to stop the boat. I know! We shouldn’t have done this. Emmy shouted back with a wistful look on her face.” I read aloud to my little sister, Kira. “Girls, time for dinner!” Mom yelled from the kitchen. “I’ll read more to you later I say to Kira while closing the book. “What are we going to eat?” I asked Mom when we went into the kitchen. Mushroom.” Said MomKira wrinkled her nose to that. “I don’t like mushrooms!” Kira shouted. “Well, you’ll have to eat it!” Mom said. 🍄

The Shrinking Mushroom

Written by Evan for the 100 word challenge

One day there was a wrinkled mushroom named Bob, He really wanted to go kayaking so he decided to go to the beach. When he got there, he was so amazed because there were so many he could choose from. At the end he chose the green one. His instructor had many rules of how to use the oar. Since, bob wanted to go so badly, he just decided to be wistful. When he went into the seas, He did not know how to use his oar, so he ended up at the bottom of the ocean. He did not know how to swim.

The Mushroom

Written by Maddox for the 100 word challenge

I was outside camping with my family as usually. We were at a campsite up north by a river. Today was a nice and sunny day in the summer. Toady my dad wanted us to go kayaking with an oar. As I was getting ready for kayaking, I felt a little bit wistful. As we kayaked, we saw a sign saying “RULE: NO TOUCHING MUSHROOMS.” As we kayaked, I saw an old, wrinkled mushroom. As I we kayaked, I saw more and more, than finally I saw a Golden Mushroom. Surrounded by Gnomes as they looked as us. They looked fierce, they grabbed something than they turned into a giant looking beast, we roe as fast as we could, but they were on top of us….
